AI Disclosure for Bloggers
AI can speed up drafting, outlining and editing your blog. Google rewards helpful, people-first content regardless of how it is produced — but readers and advertisers increasingly value transparency about AI use.
The current rules
Google does not ban AI content, but it does penalise low-quality, spammy content produced primarily to manipulate rankings. For trust (and some ad networks) it is good practice to disclose meaningful AI involvement, usually at the top of the post or in the byline.
Example disclosures
- This article was created with the assistance of artificial intelligence and edited by a human.
- Parts of this post were drafted using AI tools.
